Are you looking for a challenging job as an Embedded Software engineer in the aerospace industry? We are looking for a passionate Embedded Software Engineer to strengthen our existing team of talented engineers. The first challenges on your list will be the design and verification of real-time embedded software for Free Space Optical Satellite Communication avionics.
What will you do?
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will work at the heart of our high-end products, including data acquisition, processing and control applications. You will be involved in the full design lifecycle from requirements, architecture design, detailed design & implementation to integration, verification and qualification. You will collaborate closely with other disciplines such as electronics hardware, FPGA and systems engineers. Your work days are never the same and your impact will be felt from specification to final deliverable.
Your responsibilities:
Embedded Software Requirements Engineering and Architecture and Interfaces definition
Functional and Performance verification
Hardware-in-Loop verification of your designs
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineering teams
Document your designs
What you bring:
A degree in Embedded Software or a related field (Bachelors, Masters)
At least 2 years of hands-on experience in embedded software design in complex or multidisciplinary projects
Extensive experience with C, C++ 14 or newer, CI/CD, Make/CMake, unit testing, ethernet, TCP/IP, UART is required
Experience with Test Driven Development, CANbus and Realtime OS is a plus
Affinity with the (aero)space industry is welcomed
A proactive, problem solving and hands-on team player mindset, but be able to work independently
Strong communication skills in English and Dutch, both written and spoken
